WDBFontOverwrite IPA allows you to change fonts without jailbreak.
Apple does not allow you to change fonts on iOS, however you can use jailbreak to set any font you want on your iPhone or iPad. Recently, a new exploit was discovered and integrated into WDBFontOverwrite to modify system fonts on stock iOS, including iOS 16.

WDBFontOverwrite is a proof-of-concept tool that uses the CVE-2022-46689 (Dirty Cow exploit) to modify iOS system fonts without jailbreaking. It is compatible with iOS 16.1.2 and previous versions. When you apply a new font, it affects all text shown in the system and takes effect after a respring.
It automatically overwrites typefaces in its collection. By default, WDBFontOverwrite provides access to nine fonts: DejaVu Sans Condensed, DejaVu Serif, DejaVu Sans Mono, Go Regular, Go Mono, Fira Sans, Segoe UI, Comic Sans MS, and Choco Cooky. New features may be introduced in the future.
WDBFontOverwrite is the first iOS tool to use the current Dirty Cow kernel hack. Hopefully, in the future, more developers will try to incorporate it and make some amazing customisations and apps, as they did when TrollStore was published for iOS 14.0 – iOS 15.4.1.
A race issue was discovered in how the kernel’s memory subsystem handled the copy-on-write (COW) breakage of private read-only memory mappings. An unprivileged local user could exploit this weakness to acquire write access to memory mappings that are ordinarily read-only.
Information: Do not attempt to use this tool on rootlets XinaA15 Jailbreak for iOS 15.0 – 15.1.1. It does not replace all typefaces in the system. This is only a proof-of-concept tool.
If you have a jailbroken smartphone, the best way to alter system fonts on iOS is to install the A-Font tweak. This easy tool enables change system fonts on iOS 13 – iOS 15 with a single swipe. The most recent iteration of iOS 15 rootless XinaA15 Jailbreak is also supported.
WDBFontOverwrite was released as an open source project, with all source code available from the official GitHub repository. The tool for changing fonts on iOS 15 and iOS 16 without jailbreaking was built in Swift, C, and Objective-C programming languages.
It’s encouraging to see that someone has begun experimenting with the Dirty Cow exploit (CVE-2022-46689) found by Ian Beer of Google Project Zero. Zhuowei, the developer of WDBFontOverwrite, devised a method to compress the fonts and overwrite 16383 bytes of each. More information is available on the GitHub website.
WDBFontOverwrite will modify the fonts in Settings, programmes, web browsers, and so on. It does not function globally throughout the system. The finalists release includes an option for custom importing the SFUI.ttf, emoji font, and PingFang.ttc fonts. Use it as an experiment rather than a full-featured app.
To install new fonts compatible with the most recent version of WDBFontOverwrite, follow these procedures.
WDBFontOverwrite is available as a free IPA package that may be sideloaded with your choice tool on iOS 16.1.2 and earlier. It was tested to function with iOS 15 – 15.7.2. You may also try installing the app via TrollStore on compatible devices and iOS firmware versions.
Note: There is no option to load the default system font after applying a new one with WDBFontOverwrite app. To reverse all changes to the system fonts restart your device or replace the stock font file in /System/Library/ Fonts/CoreUI/SFUI.ttf and respring.
